The Ohio-West Virginia State YMCA (a.k.a. HI-Y Leadership Center) develops young civic leaders with a life-long commitment to responsible citizenship. Since 1867, our Y's hands-on learning approach continues to enable persons to be posiiitve change agents in our communities.
Our programs are for the youth of every community, school, homeschool and local YMCA. In addition to school and community based HI-Y teen groups, we operate two leadership centers - YMCA Camp Horseshoe in West Virginia and the Cave Lake Center for Community Leadership in Ohio. Our annual Youth in Governments are hosted at the Statehouse in Columbus and the Capitol in Charleston.
