Camp Nelson Dodd Participant Form

The Ohio-West Virginia YMCA is in search of anyone who was involved with Camp Nelson Dodd. If you were a camper or staff member we would love to hear from you. A building or at least a room at Cave Lake will be named in memory of Nelson Dodd and in honor of the work of Camp Nelson Dodd. Our Executive Director is collecting postcards, pictures and other memorabilia of Camp Nelson Dodd. Recently he secured a panorama picture of a children's camp from the 1950's. We have also secured a panorama picture of a 1927 HI-Y Camp. A 1923 Nelson Dodd camper recruitment booklet has been added to our Nelson Dodd collection. Eleven days of camp in 1923 cost $13.00. $1 was due with the application and the $12 balance on arrival at camp.

Gifts of Camp Nelson Dodd items are welcome! Our goal is to have a Nelson Dodd Memorial building or at least a room at the Ohio-West Virginia YMCA's new Ohio residential Cave Lake Center for Community Leadership. Pictures, postcards, brochures, memoribilia and other Nelson Dodd materials are welcome additions to our collection. Give a call or mail them to us or deliver them in person to Cave Lake.
