Volunteers Impact Program
Our Volunteers really do Impact our Programs. Without a strong corp of volunteers, it would be impossible for us to do what we do.
Volunteers can help out at any time, but some regular volunteer events are held annually at both Cave Lake and Horseshoe and are listed below.
Volunteer Events
Cave Lake
In April we have a Day of Service where many youth and adult volunteers assemble to help us "spruce up" the facility for the summer season. The actual date can be found on the Calendar, but it is normally near the end of the month.
The fourth Saturday of each October we also host Make a Difference Day. This is a national day of service and we normally have 50-75 youth and adults participating in a number of service projects at Cave Lake. The generosity of the GE Volunteers make both of these events successful.
Camp Horseshoe
Camp Horseshoe is also in need of volunteers throughout the year. Please contact the Horseshoe office directly to volunteer.
